Join Psychic Medium, Hailey Lowe Fennell, the host of House of Guest for a special Winter Solstice event! During this unique experience, Hailey will guide the group through a one hour reading, sharing both personal and collective messages from the other side. Then engage in a visualization to help you tap into your intuition, deepening your connection to yourself and those on the other side.

After that, Hailey and our expert chandlers will help guide you in selecting the perfect scents for your two personalized 9 oz. candle creations, making it truly unique to you and the person you’re connecting with. Together, you'll craft these candles, choosing scents that evoke meaningful memories of your loved ones, guides, or your own soul. By the end of the event, you’ll not only have a deeper sense of connection but also a tangible reminder of the insights and guidance shared during this time together.

Just come ready to connect and let the process unfold naturally. And don't forget - our workshops are BYOB! Candles set overnight with us and will be ready to pick up as early 10am the following day. Cancellation Policy – Full refund up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled class. If you need to cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled workshop, you can reschedule your workshop via the confirmation email, or contact the store for a credit.

Workshop Details

1) Age limitations

Unless otherwise indicated, workshops at Candlefish are designed for adults ages 15 and older. Because our candle workshops are BYOB, involve high temperatures, and are intended for adults, we aim to create an adult friendly atmosphere.

2) Punctuality

We get it, things happen and you run late from time to time. Although we won’t give you a tardy slip for being late to class, please be aware that classes start promptly at the designated time.

If you are going to be late*, please call the shop ahead of time and let us know, otherwise we may begin the class without you and we don’t want to do that!

*If you or any members of your group are going to be over 15 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule for a later date to allow us a chance to book your open seats. You can easily reschedule your class via your confirmation email prior to the class start time.

Classes typically run for 1.5 hours.

3) Cancellation Policy

For cancellations made at least 48 hours (two days) in advance, simply use the prompts within your workshop confirmation email to either reschedule your workshop or go through with a refund.

For cancellations made less than 48 hours (two days) in advance: You can either reschedule your workshop from within your confirmation email, or contact the store for a Gift card/class credit issued in the amount of class fee.

4) Changing Class Dates

In the event that something comes up and you need to change your class registration, you can easily reschedule your class via your confirmation email prior to the class start time.

5) Candle Pick-Up

The candles you make in class will cure overnight at Candlefish, and are ready to be picked up the day following your workshop. Candlefish will babysit your candles for one week following your candle class, so please make arrangements to pick up before the end of the week!

6) Getting to Your Workshop

Boston: We are located between the Copley and Arlington stops on the Green line on the T. There are also several parking garages near our store, and of course street parking is available. And remember - street parking is free on Sundays and Holidays!

Charleston: There are 2 parking garages centrally located to our store at 270 King St. The first and closest garage is 69 Wentworth St, and the second parking garage is at 85 Hasell St, or more known as The Charleston Place Hotel, which is about a 5-8 minute walk to our store! There is also street parking throughout the downtown area. All of these options have hourly parking rates, and on Sundays, all street parking is free.
